RepCloud Drive

Files connected to every sale.

Keep company files, customer documents, and sales records together—then preview, share, or publish them without losing context. Built-in editing for supported Office files is available in preview. Drive is a $49/month add-on.

File context

Keep files with the customer account and the work they support.

Keep price sheets, product media, order documents, and portal-ready downloads near the account in RepCloud Drive. Eligible accounts can enable approved connected-source bridges when files still live elsewhere.

  • Find the right source file while you are looking at the customer, without remembering which storage system owns it.
  • Share selected documents through the portal without exposing internal notes or unrelated external folders.
  • Copy, attach, preview, or migrate important files into RepCloud when they become part of the sales record.
  • Give RC Assistant the account and file context it needs to help, even when useful source material started outside RepCloud.

Sales files

Make files usable, editable, and shareable across the suite.

Drive is the file layer for RepCloud: hosted folders, previews, built-in document editing, sharing rules, portal access, and links back to the right account, product, order, or campaign. External-source availability depends on the approved workspace connection.

RepCloud cloud storage

Store account files, price sheets, product media, customer documents, portal downloads, and source assets directly in RepCloud-managed folders.

Approved connected sources

Use enabled Dropbox or Google Drive bridges alongside RepCloud folders when the workspace connection and action are supported. Other provider workflows remain setup-dependent.

Folder structure

Organize sales files by account, brand, product line, project, source drive, or shared customer workspace.

Built-in document editing

Edit supported Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OpenDocument files stored in RepCloud Drive without downloading them first, powered by Collabora.

Sharing controls

Share files by role, team, customer, record, source drive, or portal visibility with clear internal and external access rules.

Record attachments

Connect files to accounts, products, orders, campaigns, tasks, portal records, and content items whether the file starts in RepCloud or an approved external source.

Customer portals

Publish selected invoices, estimates, purchase orders, spec sheets, and downloads to customer-facing portals.

File preview and context

Preview documents, see linked CRM records, Workspace tasks, Publisher drafts, portal status, and give RC Assistant file context.

Migration and copy paths

Copy important files from connected drives into RepCloud storage when they become part of a customer record, order, campaign, or portal workflow.

Built-in editor · Preview

Preview and edit supported files without downloading a separate copy.

Open supported RepCloud Drive documents in the embedded editor, make changes, and save the updated file back to Drive. RepCloud keeps the current version, active editor lock, latest save, and recent saved versions visible around the file.

  • Primary formats: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, and ODP.
  • Legacy and compatible formats include DOC, RTF, XLS, CSV, and PPT when the configured editor advertises support.
  • Macro-enabled files can open as documents, but online macros do not run.
  • Unsupported files keep preview, download, or external-open fallbacks.
  • Editing files directly in Dropbox, Google Drive, or other connected providers is not implied.

Safety and recovery

Clear answers before customers trust Drive with important files.

Drive keeps file access, sharing, editing, and customer-facing publication tied to the same RepCloud account and permissions.

Secure app traffic

RepCloud Drive uses HTTPS/TLS for app traffic, and the iPhone app stores its pairing token in iOS Keychain.

Role-aware file access

Drive access follows RepCloud account roles, folder policies, and file permissions so files stay tied to the business context.

Revocable sharing

External share links are tokenized and can be revoked, keeping public sharing separate from normal signed-in team access.

Version-aware editing

Supported document editing keeps save state, file versions, and active editor locks visible around the file.

Controlled portal publishing

Publish only selected customer documents and downloads while internal files and unrelated folders remain private.

Business context

Connect files to customers, products, orders, campaigns, tasks, and portals so teams know what each document supports.

Drive surfaces

Folders, editors, and sharing stay close to the sale.

Browse RepCloud folders and approved connected sources, edit supported files, share customer documents, and keep the sales context attached.

Folders reflect the way teams actually use files.

Price lists, product media, customer documents, portal downloads, and source assets can be organized around real sales and service work, even when some folders are RepCloud-hosted and others are connected from tools the team already uses.

Office files can be edited where the work is happening.

Teams can open price sheets, inventory reports, MAP exceptions, promo calculators, documents, and presentations from Workspace, update them, save versions, and route the file back to CRM or Publisher.

Sharing can be internal, customer-facing, or portal-ready.

Drive shows who can view, edit, manage, or download a file, which source owns it, and which files are available through a customer portal.
